Richmond Hotel Obihiro Ekimae

The rooms were of a good size, clean n functional. The breakfast was good n the staff was extremely helpful.

Like the Richmond chain! Business style hotel with comfy beds and awesome washing machines that dry your clothes. Staff is friendly and the place is modern.

Buffet breakfast had few western items

-Clean and comfortable hotel in the city center with all of the amenities. -Good location within walking distance to a lot of places.

-Parking garage was a bit difficult to find. It was around the side of the hotel and was a lift type. 600 yen/night is the fee.

The location was excellent and convenient for restaurants. We enjoyed the quality of the breakfast.

Parking was not located at the hotel due to the size of our vehicle. The room had no storage for clothes except a small hanging space and the bathroom was not well ventilated.

Very clean hotel just in front of Obihiro station, very convenient.

The bed is little bit small for 2 adults and 1 small kid sharing the room! and it was too hot in the building and in the room.

Everything. The location, the room, the amenities, laundry room and a pantry to warm up your take away food on the 8th floor is really nice to provide this essential hotel complimentary.

Nothing !

The location was great. Near to JR station and restaurants.

We didnt know the hotel was under construction at common area and some facilities were closed due to that. The parking was also quite tight.

I thought the room was comfortable the people working there considerate. I would like you all to know that I found the spa card for women in my back pack in a corner when I returned home. I am sorry that I did not find it earlier. At any rate no one who should not will be able to use the pass card.

Maybe there could be instructions on how to open the windows in each of the hotel rooms as it was difficult to figure out how to do this.

Staff - friendly. Provided facial mask sheet too. Near many eateries.

Parking was charged at 600 yen a night:-(

Nice, cosy hotel conveniently located in Obihiro. All the amenities and fittings in the hotel were very new and well-maintained.

Ongoing renovations. But there was no noise.

Even with its drawbacks, I found the Richmond a comfortable stay. Great location across the street from the train station. Tons and tons of restaurants nearby. Room was adequate and nothing more. First floor restaurant is very nice. I had breakfast only one time, and it was a wonderful assortment of offerings.

Honestly, I don't remember seeing a lobby floor with such filthy carpets. The lobby furniture wasn't far behind. I mean, it's a nice hotel and why they don't refurbish the area that is in most plain sight is beyond me. Cleaning of the guest room (true cleaning once every three days) was mediocre and a lot of going through the motions.

Great location, great breakfast.

The laundry room is not big enough.

The room was too small, nevertheless clean, Good for rush, single or business visitors, but not for family.

Good location opposite train station and near lots of restaurantsCleanFriendly staff

- Good location, super close to the train station and down town (foods and shops), everything is walkable distance.- Nice staff, arranging the nice parking spot for you- I booked a sightly big room so its coner room which is quite enough

- Toilet / Shower is a bit old style, but clean.

Very clean and relatively new hotel. Comfortable and location is great too. Eco-friendly.

Very clean and spacious and in a good location

It was a struggle trying to communicate with the hotel parking personnel.

Hotel really close by the Obihiro station and city center. Room was clean bed was comfy and staff was ok.

Reception team doesn’t speak English

Polite staff. The room was a bit more spacious than the average japanese business hotel. Breakfast is really good and varied for its price.

The aircondition didn't have information in english. It didn't seem to do much. It was very hot in the room.

Given the price, the breakfast was of a good standard, with some choices although not of great variety.

The room a bit small, double bed one side being parked to wall - not very convenient.
